Happy Monday Everyone!!!
This is going to be a great week for everyone!!! I am SOOOooooo EXCITED about these things ... I just have to share them with you.( I feel like a kid on Christmas morning waiting to see what Santa brought me(Wink)).
First of all ... I have been hard at work on several different paintings. Yes, You know me..depends on my mood of the day and which painting is calling for my attention....(lol).
I have started working on my next painting series and have been trying to keep it a secret! I have been receiving emails asking what I have chosen for my next painting series..... my version of the Wizard of Oz, Camelot, or Sleeping Beauty. So I have decided to let you know which one I have chosen.
Drum roll please...lol,
It's my Original "In the Land of Oz" Series. The first painting of this series will feature the Wicked Witch and 2 Flying Monkeys. This painting is sooo VaVaVaVoom Sexy. Evil just never looked so good!!! It's on a gallery style stretch canvas measuring 24" X 30"...No frame will be needed...it will be ready to hang. I am soooooooooooo loving this piece already. It's turning out perfectly! It's just gorgeous!!!! I can't wait for you all to see it when it's done. Even though I am sooo wanting everyone to see this painting, even in it's unfinished state now.. I am doing my best to wait to show it off only when its finished!!!
I have also been hard at work on the next installments to my " Wonderland Series". The remaining pieces to this series have already been sold, but I will be as always showing you the finished pieces:)
Also this week, I will be have a new item, once its completed. It's a handpainted Queen of Hearts Wall Clock. Which features Her Majesty... the Queen of Hearts from my original Wonderland Series. She is beautiful!
Also this week on ebay I will have more ACEO trading cards available, along with jeweled bookmarkers featuring signed glossy prints of my original paintings, along with hopefully more new paintings.
Well, I better get back into my studio and paint, that is after I tunnel my way thru the boxes of new canvases the UPS driver just delivered...lol. I just received my order that has some really unique beveled edge canvases in some amazing shapes and sizes... some Oval ones too! My little apprentices are having so much fun right now romping thru the box maze. LOL.

GOTHIC MERMAID is my latest painting. She is a "wicked" little mermaid dressed in her black leather, silver chains and lip ring. When you look into her hypnotic silvery blue crystal eyes you can't help but wonder what she is up too....as she slithers thru the murky waters. She is one tough yet gorgeous mermaid. I can't keep myself from getting lost into this piece and the gothic vibes it has. This is definitely one of my favorites to date. Tons of details! This painting is now available thru my ebay store... Art of Lady Heather.
This is my original acrylic painting done on 100% artist's grade tung woog wood panel ( cradled) so NO FRAME is needed. It's Ready to Hang. The paintings measures 18"x 18" x.75".

Well I finally did it... after months and months of everyone telling my to create a blog/journal .. I finally did it!!!!
Had a really fun fourth of July weekend... spent the 4th with friends attending their annual BBQ which was pretty much an all day and nite event:) Sunday I spent the day painting , which for all of you know who me... that is a norm for me. I finished a beautiful acrylic painting which I am calling "Tahitian Pearl Mermaid." I just love her!!! She's a really unique size 24" x 12" x .75" and on art wood panel. The panel resembles a gallery wrapped canvas persay..... its about .75" deep and all ready to hang. No fram is needed. She is going to be available in my store on ebay later today:) I have also been busy creating my store on Zazzle.com but the opening is still a few days off for me. When it's officially open I will let you know.
Well, I am going to head back into my studio and get back to painting.
