BioHello Everyone!
My name is Lady Heather and I am a full time professional artist, who favors the world faeries and other mystical entities. A day does not go by without the natural beauty and colours of the universe embracing me. Once in front of my easel this feeling flows from my inner being thru my fingertips and brush and onto my canvas.
Art has always been a passion of mine. I have been drawing since the time I was old enough to hold a crayon. I enjoy different mediums but my current choice is acrylics. I love the way the acrylics feel.... for my style and rich color choices, their the perfect tool needed to make my mystical creations come alive.
I have always had an interest in faeries. My parents introduced me into the worlds of fairytales and fantasy thru the works of CS Lewis, Hans Christian Anderson and JRR Tolkien. The elusive faries, mischevious pixies and other mytholocigal creatures have always been very real for me. As the years passed I developed a great fondness for vampires and the supernatural. In my works I love to enchant my viewers with my magical etheral and at times darker illusions.... allowing them to escape into the realms of another world.
I currently live and work in the beautiful state of Michigan with my two adorable and terribly spoiled shih tzu babies Leo and Bella ( or I should say King Leopold and Queen Bella). My work can be found in a few galleries and in private collections worldwide.
